Emily Coates

At the helm of the Ivy Social team is Emily Coates. A marketer at heart, Emily is passionate about helping businesses leverage digital channels to grow to new heights.

Emily's diverse career has seen her do everything from implementing digital campaigns for luxury brands, advising the government on digital trends, and working on award-winning national marketing campaigns.

She's also the former owner and editor of HOORAY! Magazine, which she transitioned from an internationally distributed print magazine to an online publication with over 10+ million monthly viewers.

Due to her career achievements, Emily won the University of Canberra’s biennial Distinguished Alumni Award. She was also a state finalist in the Telstra Business Awards and was named as ACT Young Businesswoman of the Year.

Ashley brings twenty years client- and agency-side, most recently as Director of Marketing at the University of Canberra and Head of Marketing & Communications at the National Gallery of Australia. A recognised marketing industry leader, he sits on the Minister's Creative Council and the ACT Brand Strategic Advisory Board.

Operations Manager and Senior Specialist

Vanessa McGrory

With seven years growing brands at Ivy Social, Vanessa certainly knows how to drive results for our clients. As Ivy's Operations Manager, she oversees work delivery to ensure seamless delivery. Equipped with both a Bachelor of Marketing Management and a Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations, Vanessa offers a well-rounded skillset to her clients.

Lisa Toffolo

Lisa has over twelve years of Google and Meta advertising expertise, originally hailing from agencies in the UK. Taking a scientific, data-driven approach to marketing, Lisa's Bachelor of Science underpins her rigorous approach to campaign optimisation, allowing her to achieve outstanding commercial results across paid marketing channels.

Melissa Sinclair

Melissa is a highly skilled specialist with seven years managing social media, paid social and online content creation across retail, health, property and hospitality industries. Equipped with a degree in Advertising and Creative and Professional Writing from QUT, and experience at leading digital publications, Mel knows how to craft content that connects.

With more than ten years in marketing, Amy brings a wealth of strategic expertise to her clients at Ivy.
