Emily Coates
At the helm of the Ivy Social team is Emily Coates. A marketer at heart, Emily is passionate about helping businesses leverage digital channels to grow to new heights.
Emily's diverse career has seen her do everything from implementing digital campaigns for luxury brands, advising the government on digital trends, and working on award-winning national marketing campaigns.
She's also the former owner and editor of HOORAY! Magazine, which she transitioned from an internationally distributed print magazine to an online publication with over 10+ million monthly viewers.
Due to her career achievements, in 2022 she was named as winner of the University of Canberra’s biennial Distinguished Alumni Award. She was a state finalist in the 2022 Telstra Business Awards and in 2023, she was named ACT Young Businesswoman of the Year.
